IBADAN ILORIN NEW FOUR-LANE DIVIDED HIGHWAY, SECTION III (OGBOMOSO- ILORIN)
New 40.3 km long Ogbomoso – Ilorin section of Ibadan- Ilorin Highway, which forms a part of Federal Route A1, Apapa Wharf – Ilela Niger Border, the busiest South-North Trans-Nigeria Highway.
The construction was completed in 2002-2009 and included:
- 3 km of new four-lane divided highway
- Dualization of 10km Eiyenkorin – Geri Alimi Spur
- 1 no. cloverleaf interchange in Ogbomoso
- 1 No. trumpet interchange in Eiyenkorin
- 4 Nos. single-carriageway flyovers
- 2 Nos. double river bridges
- 10 Nos. Underpasses
- Extensive subsoil and surface drainage structures
- Median crash barrier throughout the length of the divided highway
